Appointments

We now have an on-line booking facility for Doctor appointments.   Click the link above to resgister.

We offer Doctor and Nurse Appointments every morning and every afternoon, Monday to Friday, with  evening appointments available on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

We will offer you the choice of an appointment within 48 working hours or to book upto one week in advance for those who wish to plan ahead.   For more urgent problems we retain some appointments for 'Same-Day' booking.  

We have Emergency Care Practitioners available to attend to minor ailments.Their appointments are all 'Same-Day' appointments.

Missed Appointments

The practice currently experiences over 150 missed appointments each and every month.  This may mean that you are unable to see a clinician on the day that you wish to. In an attempt to try and resolve this, the practice has developed the following policy:

If a patient fails to attend 2 appointments within a twelve month period without informing the practice, we will write to the patient asking if there are any specific problems preventing the patient from letting the practice know why they were unable to attend.

If a patient fails to attend for a 3rd appointment within a twelve month period, the patient may be removed from the practice list and have to find an alternative GP practice.

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone before 10am if you require a home visit and one of our Patient Advisors will assist you. 

A doctor or nurse may phone you back if they feel that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Surgery.
